This fusion recipe combines minced lamb with a blend of aromatic spices, Dijon mustard, and vinegar for a rich and flavourful dish.

Ingredients

  • 500g Minced lamb
  • 150g Onion, chopped
  • 115g Soft brown sugar
  • 90g Dijon mustard
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 15g Fresh thyme
  • 180ml Vinegar
  • 3g Ground cumin
  • 3g Ground coriander

Method

  1. Heat the oil and add the onion, sautéing until softened.
  2. Add the minced lamb and cook through.
  3. Stir in the sugar, bay leaf, and thyme.
  4. Add the vinegar and Dijon mustard.
  5. Continue cooking for 30 minutes over a medium heat.
